Heisenbooks’ founder, Matthew Davis, began this business over a decade ago after a long and fruitful career as a chemistry teacher. With an initial focus on pre-owned academic textbooks, he found enough success to move into a new location in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, where the company expanded both its workforce and product range.

 

What was once a place for students to find used, affordable school books became a peddler of stories for all ages, from beloved classics to hidden gems. Now, Heisenbooks devotes much of its business to countless book series, from Mitford to Jack Reacher to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Singular novels are still readily available here as well, including a variety of non-fiction works.
